Lucy de Groot has worked in senior management roles including Chief Executive of Bristol City Council, Director of Public Services at the Treasury and Chief Executive of a national social action and volunteering charity. She is a Trustee of the Baring Foundation, Vice-Chair of Governors at the Working Men’s College in Camden and Chair of Governors of Tower Hamlets and Hackney College. In addition to these roles she is a Trustee of the Newham-based charity Community Links which works nationally promoting early action on health and wellbeing issues. She started her working life as a community worker in North Islington and has lived in the borough for the last sixteen years. As well as chairing the Audit Committee, Lucy is an active member of the Strategy and Finance Committee.
